These are some of the missions we are involved in at home and abroad

Tim and Jess Steele

Tim and Jess, Judah, Abigail and Elisabeth used to be part of the church here in Baglan. They now work amongst Muslims in a centre outside Birmingham called the Friendship Centre.

Eduardo Zarate Caceres and family

Eduardo and his family work for a mission organisation called UFM. Eduardo is working in his native land of Peru.

Tough Talk

Tough Talk are a group of weightlifters and hard-men who share the gospel through their personal testimonies of changed lives. Their main work is in prisons.

Christians Against Poverty

Hannah (the Pastors wife) is the Debt Centre Manager for Port Talbot. She, along with members of the church here visit people in their homes in order to help them become debt free.

YMP - Youth Mission Project

Each Easter we send a team, many of them young people, across to South Africa to help in building programmes. Over previous years they have built homes, schools and churches, some in the slums of Soweto.

Child Sponsorship with Compassion

Our children's Sunday School Clubs collect money each month to sponsor a child who was rescued from the streets of Rio in Brazil. His name is Emerson.

Operation Christmas Child

Each year we collect shoeboxes full of presents for children in other parts of the world who are unlikely to get any presents otherwise.

Metro World Child

Metro World Child is a global, faith-based humanitarian organization dedicated to serving inner-city children throughout New York City and various urban centers around the world. Last year we had a visit from Bill Wilson, the founder and international director of the organisation.

We are a collection point for Foodbank and members of the congregation volunteer.
