SERVING IN MISSION
Dr Mikey is working in Liberia with sick children. Liberia is very poor and a country in crisis. There is little health care service there. He works in two medical projects, one being in the capital. It is a malnutrition programme for children providing both in and out patients service. There are 60 beds and the children are given specialist milk. Recently a new born baby care space has been started, it has 7 beds and possibly the only working incubator in Liberia. They have seen wonderful miracles of the specialist milk being provided when it has nearly run out. His second project is in the bush, still under construction, but already starting an outpatient service. The ‘Jesus Loves Me’ Hospital as it is called will soon have 40 beds.
